Fostering Connections October 2022 Newsletter

Dear Fostering Connections Supporters,

I hope you are having a great start to fall and are staying safe during this hurricane season. Although the weather is still warm, fall is upon us. The pumpkins are out and there are so many community events happening. I love this time of year!

It's a busy fall here at Fostering Connections! Our Foster/Adoptive Family Meet Ups are being held each month and have had wonderful attendance. We are excited to welcome our College Readiness Academy students on October 15 to learn about the opportunities college can offer with meeting your future career goals. There is still time for students to register.

Fostering Connections was honored to be part of North Florida Lincoln's Centennial Celebration on September 15. Fostering Connections received a $5,000 donation in honor of Lincoln's 100th birthday. We are so grateful to north Florida Lincoln for their support and partnership. Read a full recap of the event in this month's newsletter.

This past month, our Board of Directors met for a strategic planning session to plan the growth of Fostering Connections over the next two years. Many thanks to our Board of Directors for their leadership and support. Our strategic plan will be launched in January 2023. We are so excited to share our plans with our supporters!

We look forward to seeing all of our supporters at our Foster Friends 5Kish & Fun Run on November 5th! There is still time to sponsor and register to participate. Read more in this month's newsletter.
