Friends List of Fostering Connections are active, caring members of our community who support the mission and programs of Fostering Connections  through volunteering, connecting, and fundraising.

Requirements:

• At least 16 years old.

• Reside or work in St. Johns County.

• Passion for helping children in foster care and their foster families.

• Pass a background check.

• Attend 50% of Friend's Gathering meetings (September-May).

• Serve on one committee.

• Participate in the Signature fundraiser and one committee fundraiser.

Backpack Brigade: Assist with preparing and delivering care packages for children entering foster care. Organize and deliver needed items for foster parents when they receive a new foster child.

Marketing: Assist with website management, social media management, and graphic design.

​

Community Service: Assist with planning outreach events for foster families.

​

Outreach: Assist with volunteer and donor recruitment.

​

Meetings:

We meet monthly and as needed for exciting campaigns, events, and projects.
