June Teen Talk Event
Fostering Connections recently hosted an exciting Teen Talk at the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp game, bringing together youth for an evening of fun, friendship, and connection. Throughout the evening, participants enjoyed the game, cheered on the Jumbo Shrimp, and spent time building relationships with peers and caring adult mentors. While the baseball game provided plenty of excitement, the true highlight was the opportunity for youth to connect with one another in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Teen Talk is designed to provide youth impacted by foster care, adoption, kinship care, and trauma with opportunities to build healthy relationships, strengthen social connections, and create positive memories through shared experiences in the community.
We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers and supporters who helped make this event possible. Your investment of time and encouragement continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
We look forward to many more Teen Talk events that foster belonging, build confidence, and remind every young person that they are valued, supported, and never alone.
