Fostering Connections August 2026 Newsletter

Dear Friends of Fostering Connections,

As summer comes to a close and a new school year begins, I'm filled with gratitude for all that we've accomplished together. Thanks to your support, youth across Northeast Florida spent the summer building confidence, developing career skills, and discovering new possibilities through our Career Readiness Academy.

As we begin a new school year, I'm especially excited to share an important milestone for Fostering Connections. For the first time, both our Teen Talk and Career & Life Skills Jumpstart programs will be offered monthly throughout the school year. This expansion means youth will have consistent opportunities to build life skills, strengthen healthy relationships, connect with trusted mentors, and continue growing long after summer ends.

We're also excited to continue expanding Family Empowerment Night, creating welcoming spaces where caregivers can connect, access resources, and build supportive relationships while their children participate in enriching activities.

None of this would be possible without you. Whether you volunteer, give, partner with us, or help share our mission, you are making a lasting difference in the lives of youth and families affected by foster care.
