Fostering Connections November 2026 Newsletter
Dear Friends,
As we enter November and the season of gratitude, I find myself especially thankful for the incredible community that surrounds Fostering Connections.
October brought an unexpected and frightening experience when my husband, Steve, and I were injured in a storefront crash. While we continue to recover, we have been deeply touched by the outpouring of kindness, prayers, encouragement, and support from so many of you.
I also want to sincerely thank our youth, families, volunteers, and community partners for your patience and understanding as we navigated necessary changes to our October programming schedule. Your flexibility and compassion during this time have meant more than words can express.
This experience has been a powerful reminder of something we see every day through our work: the importance of having people in your corner. For the young people and families we serve, knowing that someone cares, believes in them, and will show up when it matters can make all the difference.
As we look ahead to November, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue building those connections through our programs, partnerships, and shared commitment to brighter futures for youth and families impacted by foster care.
Thank you for being part of our Fostering Connections family. Your kindness, generosity, and belief in our mission continue to inspire me.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Aubrie Simpson-Gotham
Founder & CEO
