Dear Friends of Fostering Connections,
As we reach the end of 2025, my heart is filled with gratitude for each of you — our youth, families, volunteers, partners, donors, and community champions who make the mission of Fostering Connections possible. This year has been one of tremendous growth, resilience, and forward momentum — and I’m grateful to have walked this journey with you.
Together, we achieved so much. We expanded Career Readiness Academy program partnerships and opportunities for our students, launched our Family Empowerment Night model, and celebrated several major milestones — including three Florida Youth SHINE Jacksonville students elected to the Florida Youth SHINE Statewide Board and our chapter being selected as Chapter of the Year. Throughout the year, we continued creating new pathways for youth leadership, advocacy, and life-changing opportunities, helping young people step confidently into their futures.
None of this happened alone. Your belief in our mission, your generosity, and your willingness to show up for youth and families made 2025 a remarkable year. Thank you for walking alongside us, for giving your time and talents, and for helping us ensure that every child and family feels seen, supported, and connected.
As we move into this holiday season, I hope you find time for rest, reflection, and joy with the people you love. On behalf of our entire organization, I wish you a peaceful holiday season and a blessed New Year.
We look forward to stepping into 2026 with renewed energy, new opportunities, and a shared commitment to empowering youth and families across our region. The best is yet to come.
