Fostering Connections April 2024 Newsletter

Dear Fostering Connections Supporters,


After months of anticipation, I am so excited to introduce our new logo!  In March, Fostering Connections launched our brand new logo and website in celebration of our 5th anniversary of service to North Florida.


Our new branding represents joy, happiness, freshness, and freedom. Our updated logo features open hands that lend help to others, they look ahead towards their future, and freedom. It truly represents the core of Fostering Connections' mission - the care and well-being of people. We bring the community together to support youth and their families impacted by foster care, adoption, or trauma.


I'm so excited for the next five years to come and seeing Fostering Connections continue to grow our impact throughout North Florida!


The month of April is full of programs with opportunities for foster/adoptive families to connect, share, and grow together.  This month,  we will be launching our first Jacksonville Foster/Adoptive Family Meet Up at Myrtle Ave Brewing!! In addition to our two additional Foster/Adoptive Family Meet Ups in St. Augustine and St. Johns, we will be hosting a Teen Talk event at Towers Family Farms in Palatka, our first Teen Talk in Palatka! Learn about our upcoming summer programs and volunteer opportunities in this month’s newsletter.


Our team has been busy getting ready for Night of the Arts, our largest fundraiser of the year, celebrating our 5th anniversary of service to North Florida. Held at Friday Musicale in the historic Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville, it will be an incredible evening of memorable performances, client testimonials, celebrating our 5th anniversary, incredible heavy appetizers and desserts catered by Biscotti’s, unlimited beer & wine, an art show, a silent auction, and a live auction.
