Fostering Connections October 2023 Newsletter

Dear Fostering Connections Supporters,

I hope you and your family are having a great start to the fall season. Fall brings a season of change and reflection as we begin to plan for 2024.

Here at Fostering Connections, we are busy preparing for the holiday season and the 2024 year. This month, we have transitioned to a new online giving platform, Givebutter. Givebutter is more user friendly, comprehensive, and has the latest technology. We are thrilled to now offer more payment methods for our supporters, including Google/Apple Pay and Venmo. It will give us the opportunity to better serve you as Fostering Connections supporters.

We have a full schedule of programming this fall with monthly Foster/Adoptive Family Meet Up events, College Readiness Academy sessions, and our Teen Talk event in December. 2023 has been a year of incredible program growth for Fostering Connections. It has been wonderful meeting so many families and growing our reach throughout Northeast Florida. Read this month’s newsletter for more information on our programs and volunteer opportunities at our upcoming Teen Talk at St. Johns Town Center.

I am excited to announce that Fostering Connections is the primary beneficiary of the upcoming Holly Jolly Shopping Spree, being held November 18 in uptown St. Augustine. Tickets and sponsorships are now live. Stay tuned for more information on Microevents this fall.
